Hardbanding Solutions Eurasia Launches and Opens New Office in Moscow
Hardbanding Solutions Europe, who provide Duraband NC to the Russian and CIS Drilling Industries, are delighted to announce that they have opened a new office and distribution centre in Moscow, Hardbanding Solutions Eurasia LLC.
In response to the increased demand for Duraband and the new range of ’Skye’ hardbanding equipment, and in order to better serve customers in Russia and the CIS countries, the company decided that now was the right time to directly invest in the country. Hardbanding Solutions Eurasia LLC, will be operated by three new directors, who all speak both Russian and English, and have many years of hardbanding experience. The companies goal is to ensure using Duraband NC for protection of drill pipe and casing is as convenient and cost-effective as possible for all of their customers.
The strength of Hardbanding Solutions is having many experienced experts in the team; of metallurgy, application, abrasion resistance, casing protection, research and development, welding equipment, logistics and more.
The ‘Skye’ automatic hardbanding units are also available through the new office. ‘Skye’ has been shown to apply hardbanding easier, faster, and with higher quality, with units already working in Russia and around the world.
Director of Hardbanding Solutions, Colin Duff, said ‘I first came to Russia to speak about hardbanding in 2007. Since then, we have worked with many of the drill pipe owners and oil companies who have realised the significant cost savings associated with using Duraband NC in their operations. In recent years the use of casing friendly hardbanding has increased significantly as oil and gas wells become more directional, resulting in more pressure being put on the drill string. I feel like we have been accepted into the industry, and I’m very grateful for the willingness of our customers who have given us the chance to prove to them the benefits Duraband application and reapplication can achieve. The creation of Hardbanding Solutions Eurasia is our way of showing a commitment to our colleagues in the industry, in an effort to repay some of the faith already shown in us.’
