Head of Rosprirodnadzor Invited Schoolchildren of Yamal to Participate in the Award “Ecology is Everyone’s Business”
The head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources Svetlana Radionova invited Yamal schoolchildren to take part in the International Children and Youth Prize “Ecology is everyone’s business” during a working trip to Novy Urengoy.
The head of Rosprirodnadzor announced this on Friday, April 23, during a visit to school No. 17, where students held an EcoNur event to collect plastic and waste paper. This eco-Friday is held weekly.
“In the modern world of informatization and technology, we want to give you the opportunity to prove yourself in nature conservation. I am sure that it is the proactive and responsible people who will change the world for the better. Soon May 9, Victory Day. Our ancestors fought for our future, for peace on earth. Now it depends on you what kind of world will go to the next generations. I invite everyone to apply for participation in our award and become more than just an ordinary person, change the future for the better, ”said Svetlana Radionova.
The Ecology is Everyone’s Business Award is organized for children and adolescents from 7 to 16 years old in order to raise their environmental awareness, involve them in the environmental agenda and support eco-activity. The jury will select the most interesting, non-standard ideas, useful initiatives, as well as outstanding projects dedicated to environmental conservation and environmental education. Participants were offered 12 nominations.
To participate, you need to submit an application on the site ecologydelokazhdogo.rf before October 1, 2021. The award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the prize will take place in Moscow on November 25. The winners will take part in the ecological session of the Orlyonok All-Russian Children’s Center.
To date, more than 150 works have been received from Russia, Belarus, Italy, Moldova, as well as Arab countries.
Recall that in 2020, for the first time in the history of the Russian Federation, environmental goals were brought to the national level. The “Ecology is everyone’s business” award responds simultaneously to several: “Comfortable and safe environment for life”, “Creation of opportunities for self-realization and development of talents”, “Digital transformation”.
