Head of the Ministry of Energy Noted the Growth of Capital Investments in Oil Production
According to the results of 2022, the capital investments of Russian vertically integrated oil companies (VIOCs) in oil production increased by 1.2 times, or by about 20%, to 1.818 trillion rubles, follows from the presentation of the head of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolay Shulginov to a speech in the State Duma, with which got acquainted with RIA Novosti.
According to the given data, in 2021, capital investments amounted to 1.494 trillion rubles. Accordingly, according to the results of last year, their growth amounted to 21.7%, or 1.2 times. In 2020, VIOCs invested 1.301 trillion rubles in oil production in Russia.
The commissioning of new wells in 2022 in the Russian Federation increased by almost 7%, to 7.9 thousand units. In 2021, this figure was 7.4 thousand.
