In Izhevsk Import Units for Cleaning Drilling Fluids Will Be Replaced

The Izhevsk company United Solutions has developed gravity deposition units used on drilling rigs. This will allow domestic exploration and oil and gas companies to replace equipment from Europe and the USA. The Devon News Agency learned about this from a message from the Agency for Technological Development.
The gravity deposition unit is a component of the solution circulation system. They are used for drilling exploration and production wells.
With the help of the node, the drilling mud is cleaned from the destroyed remnants of glass microspheres. This phenomenon occurs during the drilling of multi-hole wells in oil fields with difficult mining and geological conditions.
The initiator of the project was the trading house “DIA Technologies“. The company asked the agency to find a company capable of independently creating a Russian version of the gravity deposition node.
During the competition organized by the Agency for Technological Development to choose a node developer, United Solutions became the winner. She was given a grant of 97 million rubles.
The contractor completed a set of reverse engineering works and submitted design and technological documentation to the agency. On its basis, any company that has confirmed its qualifications in the Agency will be able to arrange the production of gravity deposition units.
