In January-October, Azerbaijan Reduced Oil and Condensate Production by 8%, Gas Production – Increased by 3.4%
Oil production with gas condensate in Azerbaijan in January-October 2023 amounted to 25 million 68.2 thousand tons, which is 8% lower than the same period in 2022, the State Statistics Committee told the Interfax-Azerbaijan agency.
Including, the production of commercial oil with condensate amounted to 24 million 974.4 thousand tons (a decline of 8.1%).
Gas production in Azerbaijan in January-October 2023 amounted to 39 billion 745.8 million cubic meters (an increase of 3.4%). At the same time, commercial gas production amounted to 29 billion 711.1 million cubic meters (an increase of 3.6%).
In October, Azerbaijan produced over 2.46 million tons of oil (a decline of 10.2% from the October 2022 figure -IF) and 3.84 billion cubic meters of gas (a decline of 5% y/y -IF).
In 2022, oil and gas condensate production in Azerbaijan amounted to 32 million 667.7 thousand tons (a decrease of 5.5%), gas – 46 billion 743.3 million cubic meters (an increase of 6.6%). At the same time, commercial gas production amounted to 34 billion 958.3 million cubic meters (an increase of 7.3%).
