In Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug the Demand for Geologists Has Increased by 95%
Over the three months of 2024, more than 160 new vacancies for geologists were published in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. This figure is 95% higher than the figure for the same period last year, hh.ru experts told URA.RU on the eve of Geologist’s Day.
“In Ugra in the first quarter, more than 160 vacancies for geologists were published. This is 95% higher than the figure for the same period last year,” the press service clarified.
The average salary for these specialists is 110 thousand rubles. Geologists are among the twenty highest paid professions in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. In most cases, they are required for companies from the oil and gas industry (73% of vacancies), from the mining industry (14%) and construction organizations (4%).
Employers in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug offer the highest salaries to machinists, welders and drivers. For drivers, the average wage offered increased the most (by 40%).
