  • In Saudi Arabia New Oil and Gas Fields Were Opened

    The Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdeliaziz Ben Salman, announced the opening of seven new oil and gas deposits in the eastern province of the kingdom and in the Rub-El Khali desert. According to the Minister, which is quoted by the Saudi news agency SPA, the National Oil Company Saudi Aramco discovered two shale oil deposits and one oil-bearing formation with ordinary oil, as well as two gas deposits and two gas facilities.

    The discoveries were made as a result of drilling three oil and three gas wells, the minister emphasized.

    Earlier, the Hungarian oil and gas company MOL reported that she discovered a new deposit in the central part of the country, from which about a thousand barrels of oil per day can be extracted.
