INK Launches Third Bentec HR-5000 Drilling Rig at Zapadno-Ayanskoye Field
LLC Irkutsk Oil Company launched the third highly automated drilling rig of the stationary-echelon type Bentec HR-5000 at the Zapadno-Ayansky license area. After three days of commissioning, the equipment is operating normally.
The unit was put into operation at well pad No. 81 of the Zapadno-Ayansky license area. “The drilling rig has successfully passed the pre-commissioning stage, and now we continue drilling. The bottom hole of the well today is 1421 m. The work is being carried out as planned, ”said Konstantin Petrukhin, Drilling Director of the Institute of Oil and Gas Industry.
The INK-Service team with extensive experience in the company’s fields was engaged to launch and operate the drilling rig. Employees also underwent training at a training center organized by INK-Service in cooperation with IrNITU and DIT.
Earlier, in April and June 2021, two Bentec HR-5000 drilling rigs were launched at the Bolshetirskoye field. The equipment was designed by order of INK, taking into account the climate of Eastern Siberia. Delivery of 4 more machines is planned in the first half of 2022.
For reference:
INK-Service LLC (a drilling division of the INK group of companies) in 2019 signed an agreement with Bentec LLC (a Russian subsidiary of the German Bentec GmbH) for the supply of seven fixed-echelon drilling rigs. The equipment is produced at the Tyumen plant LLC “Bentek”. Bentec drilling rigs are characterized by a high degree of automation of drilling processes, which helps to enhance safety, optimize costs and time, and improve the quality of well construction. For the purchase of three units, part of the funds was provided by the Industrial Development Fund.
