  • International Petroleum: Requests and is Granted Share Trading Suspension

    International Petroleum Limited requests that a trading halt be granted by the National Stock Exchange of Australia with respect to its ordinary shares effective from pre-open 22 March 2013 and provides the following information in relation to that request:

    • International Petroleum seeks a trading halt pending an assessment by the board of a transaction presented to the Company in respect to a funding arrangement and an acquisition which is expected to have a material impact on the financial position of the Company;
    • International Petroleum requests the trading halt end on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on 26 March 2013, or when an announcement in respect to the status of the Company or execution of a binding transaction referred to above is released to the market
    • International Petroleum is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.

    The trading halt has been granted.
