  • Introducing ECO: Workover — An Innovative Digital Solution for Well Workover Monitoring and Automation

    After successful field trials in partnership with our client, we are pleased to announce the launch of the ECO Digital Platform designed specifically to facilitate well workover operations. ECO: Workover is a state-of-the-art software that offers real-time remote monitoring and automation capabilities for well workover processes, streamlining a wide array of engineering tasks including planning, process monitoring, performance optimization, and operational control.

    Key Features and Functionalities

    The platform provides a comprehensive suite of features such as real-time warnings for oil gas water flow, mechanical and hydraulic calculations, Non-Productive Time (NPT) identification, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis, and automated report generation. The platform is particularly well-suited for critical downhole operations like bottom hole normalization, packer installation and removal, bridge plug and inflow control device management, cement bridge drilling, column shoe milling, and fishing operations.

    Innovative Hardware Integration

    A standout feature of the ECO Digital Platform is its integration with innovative hardware technology, including an acoustic echo sounder. This allows for automated liquid level measurements to mitigate the risk of gas flow. The platform offers a highly adaptable system for continuous monitoring and control of fluid levels within the well. Users can set threshold values for automated warnings and immediate actions, thereby ensuring compliance with technological standards, and minimizing risks.

    Successful Field Testing

    During the field tests, automated level measurements were executed seamlessly during various types of operations. Furthermore, the ECO Digital Platform was successfully integrated with existing sensors of the workover rig system, with essential data being displayed through the platform’s visualization tools.

    The results of the pilot tests have validated the efficiency of integrating our digital solution into production workflows. They have also illuminated the potential for substantial improvements in operational processes, safety, and cost-effectiveness in well workover management.
