  • Iran Begins Development of a New Gas Field in the Northeast

    The first phase of the Tus Gas field development project in northeastern Iran was launched at an official ceremony on Sunday.

    The Tus Gas field, located in Khorasan Razavi province, will produce three million cubic meters of gas per day in the first stage, and in the second stage, production will be increased to five million cubic meters of gas per day.

    The opening ceremony of the mentioned project was attended by the head of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Mohsen Khojasteh-Mehr.

    According to Khojaste-Mehr, it is planned to dig eight wells to develop this field and invest $200 million to complete the project.
