Oil and gas companies plan to create an industrial consortium “Neftegaz”. With its help, they expect to completely cover the IT needs for the industry with domestic solutions by 2028. This was stated by the head of Gazprom Neft, Alexander DYUKOV, as part of the Digital Independence of Industrial Russia forum (May 31 – June 2, Nizhny Novgorod). This was reported by Interfax.
Gazprom Neft, Gazprom, SIBUR, NOVATEK, Zarubezhneft, Transneft, Tatneft, Rosgeo, LUKOIL, EuroChem are planning to become members of the consortium. The signing of an agreement between them is expected at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum SPIEF (June 14-17).
Now there is an industrial competence center (ICC) “Oil and gas, petrochemistry and subsoil use”. It included 13 largest industry companies.
“There was a collection of needs for import substitution,” Dyukov said. “We identified 12 key areas of work, from geological exploration along the entire chain to sales. Last year, 28 projects were selected as particularly significant. State funding was not asked. participants. Most of these projects will be implemented by the end of 2025.”
The industry still faces a huge number of tasks in IT, said the CEO of PJSC Gazprom Neft. At the first stage, the consortium will include the majority of ICC participants.
“In the future, we expect to expand the membership, including through interested organizations from other industries,” said Alexander Dyukov. “We hope that companies and technology partners from friendly countries can become members of the consortium in the future.”
“The industry landscape will be 100% covered by domestic solutions that are equivalent or superior in efficiency to foreign counterparts,” the top manager explained. “A catalog of industrial software will be created, the solutions of which will become available for replication. An environment and tools will be created for effective joint development and implementation industrial software. We want to finally solve these problems by 2028.”
