  • It is Planned to Start Developing 4 Oilfields in the Irkutsk Region

    The governor of the Irkutsk region I. Kobzev and the CEO of the company Russian Coal of Siberia O. Kharlamov signed a cooperation agreement for the development of 4 deposits in the Angara region.
    The signing of the agreement took place within the framework of SPIEF-2023.

    The company is going to start developing 4 deposits in the Angara region: one coal and 3 iron ore.
    They want to build 2 processing plants at the coal-fired Zheron deposit, which will provide more than 680 new jobs with investments of 8.7 billion rubles.

    3 mining complexes, 2 processing plants and social facilities will be built at the Neryundinsky, Alapaevsky and Polivsky iron ore deposits.

    Investments will amount to 27.9 billion rubles. The project will employ more than 1 thousand people. O. Kharlamov noted that the project will be aimed at export.
