Italian Saipem Has Signed a Contract with Azule Energy to Develop the Ndungu field offshore Angola
The contract value is $850 million.
Italian energy company Saipem has awarded a contract to Azule Energy, a joint venture between Eni and BP, to develop the Ndungu field as part of the Agogo Integrated West Hub project offshore Angola. Saipem is one of the largest in the world, an Italian oil services company, until 2016 it was a division of the Italian oil and gas giant Eni (retains control over 30% of the shares).
Saipem’s scope of work includes the design, fabrication, transportation and installation of approximately 60 km of rigid pipelines and subsea equipment at a depth of approximately 1,100 meters. Saipem plans to use its FDS vessel for transportation and installation of rigid pipelines.
The contract value is $850 million. Agogo is located in the western node of block 15/06 offshore Angola.
Yinson Production is responsible for the delivery of the Agogo FPSO project, which is developed using a comprehensive suite of carbon emission reduction technologies, including the world’s first onboard carbon capture technology. The Agogo FPSO will have a production capacity of 120,000 barrels of oil per day.
