  • Join Experts and Discuss Geology and Carbonate Reservoirs at the SPE Workshop

Carbonate reservoirs are characterised by a complex structure and extreme variability of petrophysical properties. In Russia, they are represented at all field development stages – these are mature fields of the Volga-Ural and Timan-Pechora oil and gas deposits, and green fields of Eastern Siberia and the North Seas. On 26–27 February, we will discuss the trends of the last 3 years in the carbonate field development.

    Topics for Discussion

Companies “easting”: big carbonates projects are broughtinto production in East Siberian petroleum province, often associated with unique geology.
Large scale implementation of proppant and acid proppantfracturing for carbonates.
Digital core and core tomography for production stimulation efficiency analysis
Development of local simulator for bottomhole treatment design
Improved technologies for production stimulation (foam system and hybrid fracturing), and more
