  • Kashagan Reaches 500 Mln Barrels of Oil

North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC), the Operator of the North Caspian project, announces that it has reached another significant production milestone – 500 million barrels of oil since the start of the Kashagan oil production 5 years ago.
This achievement demonstrates stable growth and development of NCOC, which continues to make a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
NCOC Managing Director, Mr Olivier Lazare, said: “Today’s remarkable achievement is the result of outstanding professionalism of NCOC’s staff, our contractors and their workers, who are extremely driven by high HSSE standards and work ethic. The event we celebrate today has also become possible thanks to the support extended to NCOC by the NCSPSA shareholders, the Authority and the central and regional government bodies”.
Congratulations to the Company and Contractors’ staff on achieving this important milestone in the Project’s history!
