  • Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Authorities Will Sell Six New Fields to Oilmen

In 2024, the KhMAO authorities will sell licenses for six new oil and oil and gas fields. The district government website states that the subsoil areas contain more than 60 million tons of oil and 7 billion cubic meters of gas.

“The proposals of the Department of Subsoil Use and Natural Resources of Ugra to include six subsoil areas in the list of areas proposed for use in 2024 for geological study, and proposals on the terms of licenses for the use of these areas were approved. The total oil resources of these areas are 60.1 million tons, gas – 7.3 billion cubic meters,” stated in documents on the website of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug authorities.

The deposits are located in the Nizhnevartovsky, Beloyarsky, Oktyabrsky and Kondinsky districts of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. These are Ozerny, Pomutsky, Sankhomsky, Serginsky 11, Serginsky 12 and Yumasky subsoil areas. Subsoil users who receive a license will need to prepare a project to study the subsoil, conduct seismic exploration and build at least one exploration well within a year.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that Rosnedra is selling the Lebyazhye oil field in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug at a discount. The starting price for a subsoil plot at auction is 25% less than last year.
