Kimray enters cooperative agreement with Tyumen State Oil and Gas University
On June 20, Kimray Inc. and Tyumen State Oil and Gas University entered into a cooperative agreement to support the education and training of students at the University and for potential technology innovation. As a part of the cooperation, Kimray donated several working separator models that employ control valves and liquid level controls similar to the Kimray equipment being used by producers in Western Siberia. Kimray also donated a number of control valves and regulators to help students understand the principle of operation.
Olga Andreeva, Kimray’s Business Development Director for Russia/CIS, stated at the ceremony that the company supports training and education and that the agreement with Tyumen was the first outside of the United States. Kimray is a leading designer and manufacturer of control equipment for upstream oil and gas production, with manufacturing facilities in the USA.
