  • Kirill Levin Appointed as General Director of Rosgeologiya

    At an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, Kirill Levin was appointed as the General Director of Rosgeologiya JSC. The team of the holding was introduced to him today by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of Russia, Alexander Kozlov, who chairs the Board of Directors of Rosgeologiya.

    Kirill Yuryevich Levin graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute named after S. Ordzhonikidze with a degree in engineering economics. Since 1993, he has worked in the banking sector. In 2011, he became an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Russian Agricultural Bank (Rosselkhozbank). From 2018 until now, he served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Rosselkhozbank, overseeing the “finance and strategy,” “financial markets and international settlements,” “capital markets and depository activities,” and “personnel” divisions.

    Rosgeologiya JSC is the country’s largest geological holding, executing the state order for the replenishment of the mineral resource base of the Russian Federation. 100% of the company’s capital is state-owned. Rosgeologiya JSCwas established on July 15, 2011, by Presidential Decree. The holding includes more than 40 enterprises that perform a full range of geological exploration work, including prospecting for solid mineral deposits, parametric drilling, seismic exploration for hydrocarbons, and marine research for both solid minerals and hydrocarbons.
