  • Kondaneft Introduces a System of Unmanned Aerial Complexes for Monitoring Production Facilities

The Kondaneft company, which is part of the production complex of NK Rosneft, has put into operation a domestic unmanned aerial complex for systemic monitoring of industrial infrastructure at its fields. Aircraft are capable of operating at temperatures from -45 ° C to + 45 ° C, wind speeds up to 15 m / s and at an altitude of at least 300 m, stay in the air for up to 7 hours and develop speeds of up to 130 km / h.

The trouble-free operation of industrial facilities is one of the priorities of the Rosneft-2022 strategy and the key task of the Company in all areas of activity. As one of the leaders in the global energy sector, Rosneft supports the advanced initiatives of the world community and implements technologies related to the protection and preservation of the environment.

Aircraft are equipped with complexes for recording high quality video images, as well as thermal imagers and laser designators for operation at night.

The introduction of unmanned technologies will allow Kondaneft to improve the safety of production facilities located in hard-to-reach areas.
