Kondaneft’s Effect from Innovation Implementation Exceeded 1.1 Billion Rubles
Kondaneft (part of Rosneft’s oil production complex) achieved an economic effect of more than 1.1 billion rublesfollowing the implementation of production efficiency improvement projects in 2025.
Among the implemented initiatives were 15 innovations developed by the company’s specialists. The greatest economic effect was achieved in the areas of well logging and field development, as well as from geological and technical measures.
As part of one of the most successful projects to optimize hydrodynamic well testing, the company’s specialists increased production by applying a modern method of production and pressure analysis that does not require well shutdown. The effect of this method exceeded 300 million rubles.
Optimization of the operating time of coiled tubing fleets during the commissioning of new wells with high-pressure multi-stage hydraulic fracturing made it possible to save more than 100 million rubles. Reducing the duration of logging operations while drilling horizontal wells generated an effect of about 50 million rubles.
Kondaneft is systematically developing its production efficiency improvement system and implementing innovations. In total, since 2019, the company’s employees have implemented 64 projects.
Improving production efficiency is one of the key elements of Rosneft’s strategy. The company is carrying out large-scale work aimed at reducing operating costs and capital expenditures, including through the implementation of advanced technological solutions.
