  • Kovyktinskoye Field Will Begin Supplying Gas By The End of The Year

By the end of the year, gas will begin flowing into the Power of Siberia main gas pipeline from the second installation at the Kovyktinskoye field in the Irkutsk region, Gazprom reported.

“By the end of the year, at the Kovyktinskoye field in the Irkutsk region, gas will begin to be supplied from the second complex gas treatment installation to the Power of Siberia gas pipeline,” says a message on the company’s Telegram channel.

The company added that it is constructing a compressor station on the Power of Siberia section from the Kovyktinskoye to the Chayandinskoye fields.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin took part in the launch of the Kovyktinskoye field and the new Kovykta-Chayanda section of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. As Putin noted, the launch of such a complex will give a serious impetus to the development of the eastern region of the country and will ensure stable supplies of fuel for both Russian enterprises and foreign partners.
