Large Order for Drilling Equipment Provides Uralmashplant’s Welding Shop with Job
Uralmashplant signed with OOO “Uralmash NGO Holding” a contract for delivery 3 thousand tons of drilling equipment. Delivery set includes different units, including guides, left and right frame modules, derricks, travel mechanism blocks, rig-up mechanism for derrick and mud pumps.
Equipment is intended for drilling rigs Uralmash BU 5000/320 and Uralmash 6000/400 EK-BMCH designed by “Uralmash NGO Holding” for different clients.
First components are already shipped in March. Completion of shipment is planned for August 2014.
“We were waiting for this order. It will help to provide Uralmashplant welding shops with the job. Moreover we recruit personnel for executing this order and we need to employ not less th an 150 employees. This signed contract is the first step. Signing of one more contract is planned for the second part of drilling equipment”, – Alexander Sharapov, General Director of Uralmashplant said.
