Drillmec Deploys 85 Mud Pumps Across The Globe
Drillmec has secured several different mud pump supply orders, despite the current challenges of both the upstream oil & gas market and the COVID-19 situation.
The 85 mud pump units ranging from 1,000 to 2,200 hp cover part of Drillmec’s broad product line with gear and belt driven diesel and electric engines.
Ten electric and winterized 9T1000 and six electric and winterized 12T1600 gear driven designed specifically for the harsh environment of West Siberia, Russia.
Three electric 9T1000 to Poland while four electric 12T1600 are going in Belarus. These special fast moving, light winterized 12T1600 will be added to the successful Drillmec ARS-250 workover rigs, enhancing their ease of move.
The biggest group of mud pumps is under construction for the Indian Market. Three are 14T2200 AC belt with double motor at 7,500 psi for each of the two 2,000 hp Drillmec HPHT rigs, while the other 56 are 12T1600 going on the following Drillmec rigs:
Four AC gear driven at 5,000 psi mud pumps for two Drillmec HH-300 hydraulic rigs;
Thirty-four AC gear driven at 5,000 psi for seventeen Drillmec 1,500 hp land rigs;
Eighteen AC gear driven at 5,000 psi for six Drillmec 2,000 hp land rigs.
