  • LUKOIL and Rostechnadzor Conclude Cooperation Agreement

    Alexander Trembitsky, Chairman of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service of Russia (Rostechnadzor), and Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL, met today at Rostechnadzor’s headquarters and signed a framework Cooperation Agreement.

    The document defines main cooperation domains, such as development of data exchange via modern information systems, organizing of research an practice workshops and conferences, expanding scientific and methodological support, and improvement of legal and regulatory framework. In order to implement the provisions of the agreement, the parties will create joint working and expert groups. They will also develop a detailed action plan to improve industrial safety at LUKOIL’s production facilities.
