The competition committee, which included the heads of the Company and structural divisions, assessed the relevance, novelty, investment component and economic efficiency of the submitted works.

In total, young oilmen of six territorial production enterprises, as well as LLC LUKOIL EPU Service and LLC Kogalym Chemical Reagents Plant, submitted 16 research projects for the competition. The contestants offered their own ways of solving such problems as increasing production efficiency in mature fields, optimizing production processes, modernizing technological facilities and equipment, innovative approaches to developing hard-to-recover reserves, increasing oil recovery, and intensifying production.
