  • Lukoil Has Invested $7.5 Billion in Projects in Uzbekistan Over 20 Years

    During its work in the republic, the company produced 134.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

    Over the course of 20 years of work in Uzbekistan, Lukoil has invested $7.5 billion in projects in this country. The company’s press service reported this in connection with the 20th anniversary of work in Uzbekistan.

    According to her data, during this time the total volume of financial investments of Lukoil in the economy of Uzbekistan exceeded $10 billion.

    It is also reported that Lukoil produced 134.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas during its work in Uzbekistan. The operator of all the company’s projects in the republic is Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company LLC, created in July 2004.

    In Uzbekistan, the company is implementing two projects under the terms of a production sharing agreement – Kanlym – Khauzak-Shady and Gissar.
