  • LUKOIL-Komi Will be Abolished After Joining LUKOIL-Perm

    LUKOIL decided to reorganize 2 of its production subsidiaries by merging LUKOIL-Komi with LUKOIL-Perm.
    The corresponding decision was made on July 24, 2023, according to the Fedresurs portal.
    As the message notes:
    • after completion of the reorganization in the form of a merger, LUKOIL-Perm will continue to operate, LUKOIL-Komi will cease operations.
    According to the financial statements of LUKOIL-Komi:
    • the organization’s revenue in 2022 amounted to 551 billion rubles. (growth by 10.4%);
    • at the same time, the year ended for the company with a loss of 54.1 million rubles, while in 2021 a profit of 59.6 million rubles was received.
    LUKOIL-Perm increased its revenue by 10.9% in 2022 to RUB 501.2 billion.
    Net profit decreased by 36.7% and amounted to 55.7 billion rubles.
    According to the CDU of the Fuel and Energy Complex, LUKOIL-Komi’s production in 2021 amounted to 14.9 million tons of oil.
    As LUKOIL noted in its latest sustainability report, production increased in 2022 due to intensive drilling of the Yareyyuskoye oil and gas condensate field (NGKM).
    According to the company’s materials, production in Timan-Pechora in 2022 accounted for 19% of LUKOIL’s total production – approximately 16.15 million tons of oil.
    A similar share fell on oil production in the Cis-Urals, where LUKOIL-Perm operates.
    LUKOIL-Komi:
    • established in 2001;
    • works in the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province and is engaged in geostudy, exploration, prospecting and production of hydrocarbons, the sale of oil, gas, gas processing products, as well as the transportation of oil and gas;
    • total number of employees – more than 7 thousand people;
    • the enterprise implements exploration and production projects in 8 municipalities: Usinsk, Ukhta, Vuktyl, Pechora, Sosnogorsk, as well as in the municipal districts – Izhemsky, Ust-Tsilemsky (Komi) and Zapolyarny (NAO);
    • The organization includes 3 territorial production enterprises:
    • as well as separate structural divisions:
      – Oil mine production enterprise Yareganeft,
      – Usinsk Gas Processing Plant (GPP),
      – Management of production and technical equipment.
    LUKOIL-Perm:
    • exists since 2003;
    • the company operates in the Perm Territory, the Udmurt Republic, the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as in the Troitsko-Pechora region of the Komi Republic;
    • the company owns 116 licenses for the use of subsoil for the purpose of prospecting, exploration and production of hydrocarbons;
    • oil extraction is carried out at 114 fields;
    • The most active mining is carried out in the Perm Territory: in the Usolsky, Kuedinsky municipal districts, as well as in the territories of the Chernushinsky, Chastinsky and Oktyabrsky municipalities.
