  • LUKOIL Produced 9 Million Tons of Oil at the A. Usoltsev Field

Cumulative oil production of LLC LUKOIL-Western Siberia (100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL) at the field im. A. Usoltseva in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug exceeded 9 million tons. There are 44 well pads at the field. The operating fund consists of 864 wells, 29 of them have been drilled since the beginning of 2023. The production infrastructure is being developed: a block cluster pumping station, a preliminary water discharge unit, a compressor and multiphase pumping stations are being built.

In 2022, at the field named after. A. Usoltseva conducted a 3D seismic survey in the amount of 62 km2 in order to geometrize the deposits of the Ach, YUS1 formations. In 2023-2025 it is planned to process and reprocess taking into account the received data using 5D regularization. A new method of geophysical surveys 3D-IR (induction logging) was tested at one of the wells in the field, which made it possible to more accurately detail the lithological section.

Recoverable reserves of the deposit. A. Usoltsev – more than 100 million tons of oil in categories AB1 and B2. Productive formations are distinguished by a variety of geological conditions and a difference in reservoir properties. About 70% of hydrocarbon reserves lie in the low-permeability reservoirs of the Jurassic and Achimov formations. To enhance oil recovery, stimulation technologies are used to increase the efficiency of the hydrocarbon recovery process.
