Lukoil Reduces Gas Production by 2.3% in 2024

Lukoil reported a 2.3% decrease in gas production for 2024, totaling 34.3 billion cubic meters, according to the company’s annual report.

“Gas production in 2024 amounted to 34.3 billion cubic meters, which is 2.3% lower than the previous year,” the report stated.

Domestic gas output in Russia remained stable year-on-year at 18.1 billion cubic meters, while international gas production declined by 4.5%, totaling 16.2 billion cubic meters.

In 2024, 47% of Lukoil’s total gas production came from international projects. 36% was attributed to Western Siberia, while the Volga region and Timan-Pechora each accounted for 6%, and the Pre-Urals region for 5%.

Lukoil is one of the world’s largest publicly traded, vertically integrated oil and gas companies, responsible for approximately 2% of global crude production and 1% of proven hydrocarbon reserves.
