Magzum Mirzagaliev Left the Post of Chairman of the Board of KazMunayGas
Magzum Mirzagaliev left the post of Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas, Askhat Khasenov was appointed acting in this position until the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, reports the press service of the Samruk-Kazyna Fund.
Askhat Khasenov was born in 1983. He graduated from the Kazakh National Technical University named after Kanysh Satpayev with a degree in oil and gas well drilling, and the University of International Business with a degree in management. He began his career in 2005 at Turgai Petroleum, and over the years he worked at the Main Dispatch Department of the Oil and Gas Industry JSC, where he held positions from leading specialist of the technical regulation department to vice president. Over the years, he held responsible positions in government bodies. Since January 2022 he has been Vice Minister of Energy.
