Making Progress Possible – Caterpillar retains presence at Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2010 exhibition
Caterpillar Global Petroleum will again present a full range of products and services at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) at booth number 3341 in Hall C. OTC is this year’s most important international petroleum trade show, being held at Reliant Park in Houston, Texas, on May 3-6. The Caterpillar Global Petroleum team, which is joining forces with representatives from Cat Logistics and Solar® Turbines, is looking forward to discussing new business opportunities and to welcoming existing Caterpillar customers.
In 2010, Making Progress Possible will be the key message and recurring theme of the Caterpillar booth. It describes the commitment to continue contributing to world-wide progress by driving positive and sustainable change. At the exhibition, Making Progress Possible will be demonstrated by showcasing latest advancements achieved in technology, products, and global customer support solutions.
Following its successful 2009 presence, Caterpillar will again demonstrate the superior value of the comprehensive Cat® diesel engine product line. A key focus for the 2010 exhibition will be communicating Caterpillar’s strategy for reaching stringent EPA Tier 4 / EU Stage IIIB regulations on diesel petroleum engines. In fact, Tier 4-compliant Cat C13 ACERT and C27 ACERTTM engines will be displayed on the stand to provide customers the opportunity to view the upgrades beginning for engines manufactured in 2011. Additionally, with the expansion of offshore customers into deeper waters, Caterpillar Global Petroleum is proud to announce the expansion of MaK branded engines for this segment to provide additional power for offshore applications. Along with technology and new products, representatives will be available at the exhibit to discuss customer support programs and Cat global dealer network, which provide industry-leading support regardless of where the customer is located.
“OTC 2010 will provide visitors with a one-stop shop for the whole range of petroleum related services Caterpillar has to offer for the global offshore, drilling, and production segments,” said Dave Noelken, Global Petroleum General Manager. “We are very much looking forward to meeting customers and discussing prospects at just miles from our headquarters in Houston.”
