Marathon Oil Schedules Third Quarter 2014 Earnings Release and Conference Call

HOUSTON, Oct. 8, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Marathon Oil Corporation (NYSE: MRO) announced today it plans to

issue its third quarter 2014 earnings news release on Monday, Nov.

3, after the close of U.S. financial markets. Prepared remarks

about the quarter along with accompanying slides will be available

on the Company’s website approximately one hour after the earnings

news release is issued. The Company will conduct a

question-and-answer conference call, which will be webcast live, on

Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 9 a.m. EST.
