Max Petroleum Plc Appointment of Senior Vice President of Engineering Steven Martin
Max Petroleum Plc, an oil and gas exploration and development company focused on Kazakhstan, is pleased to announce the appointment, of Steven P. Martin as Senior Vice President of Engineering.
Mr. Martin has over 33 years of experience as a petroleum engineer, including 27 years at Anadarko in positions of increasing responsibility, including international project management, portfolio planning, and finally serving as Anadarko’s Chief Engineer. After leaving Anadarko in 2007, Mr. Martin worked for three years as Engineering Manager for Legado Resources LLC, a private equity company, focused on the application of enhanced oil recovery methods to add reserves in mature fields. Mr. Martin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Marietta College, an MBA degree from the University of Denver, and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Mr. Martin will be based in Houston.
