  • Mikhail Syrtlanov Headed Petro Welt Technologies

    Before Petro Welt Technologies, Mikhail Syrtlanov also built a career at CATKoneft.

    Mikhail SYRTLANOV, an oil engineer from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, was appointed general director of the oil service company Petro Welt Technologies. The Devon News Agency learned about this from a message from the enterprise.

    Mikhail Syrtlanov was born in 1984. In 2005, he graduated from the Ufa State Petroleum Technical University (USPTU) with a degree in Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields.

    He began his career in 2004 as an oil and gas production operator at LLC Oil and Gas Production Management Bashsibneft. In 2005, Syrtlanov got a job at KATConeft LLC (Kogalym). Over the course of six years at this company, he worked his way up from a hydraulic fracturing operator to a deputy technical director for hydraulic fracturing.

    From 2011 to 2014 Syrtlanov was the chief engineer of the Kogalym branch of PetroAlliance Services Company Limited. For the next four years, he alternately headed various divisions of Schlumberger in the Russian Federation, including Sakhalin and Tyumen.

    In 2018, Mikhail Syrtlanov returned to KATConeft, where he became a project manager to improve operational efficiency. The very next year he was appointed director of downhole technologies at Petro Welt Technologies (Moscow).

    In 2022-2024, Syrtlanov was deputy general director for production and operational efficiency of Petro Welt Technologies.
