  • More Than 2,500 People Visited the Anniversary Exhibitions “Atyrau Oil&Gas” and “AtyrauBuild”

    The work of the 20th North Caspian Regional Exhibition “Atyrau Oil&Gas” and the North Caspian Regional Construction Exhibition “AtyrauBuild” ended in the oil capital of Kazakhstan.

    The exposition of the Atyrau Oil&Gas exhibition has been gathering oil and gas industry professionals for many years, acting as the main communication field for representatives of the public sector and major market players, a place to search for new partner projects in the field of oil and gas production, in the production of oil and gas equipment and infrastructure development . This is an important industry event for the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan. Here are further directions for the development of the oil and gas sector and the construction industry in the region, modern technologies and equipment.

    Products of own production and official distribution were presented at the exposition by 86 companies from Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Kazakhstan, China, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Russia and Turkey. It should be noted that 58 companies participating in the exhibition are from Kazakhstan, 18 of them work in Atyrau.

    The increase in the number of new companies participating in exhibitions indicates the development of exhibition activities in this region. Thus, for the first time, 34 companies (40% of the total number of participants) presented their products, most of which have already positively assessed participation in exhibitions as a necessary investment for their further growth. Representatives of MWM AUSTRIA GmbH made their debut at the exhibition. Three days of the exposition brought good results, the first agreements on cooperation in Kazakhstan were reached, the participants say.

    “Yesterday we set up at least ten useful meetings with potential customers. We see that Kazakh oil companies are very interested in our products. Therefore, participation in this specialized exhibition is extremely useful and promising for us. We have big plans for Kazakhstan both in this and in subsequent years,” said German Teplovodsky, head of the Representative Office of MWM AUSTRIA GmbH.

    Debuted at the exhibition and representatives of five export-oriented companies from the Perm Territory of the Russian Federation. Under the current economic sanctions, the oil and gas and construction exhibitions for manufacturers from the neighboring country came in handy as never before.

    — For companies, this is not only an opportunity to demonstrate their export potential, but also to establish new contacts. The market of Kazakhstan is very interesting for us, because now is a difficult time, and many companies have decided to reorient themselves in terms of exports, and the market of Kazakhstan in this sense helps a lot,” said Nadezhda Bychina, a specialist at Perm Expert Center.

    Representatives of government agencies also speak about the importance of industrial exhibitions for expanding sales markets and business growth. “Such exhibitions provide Kazakh companies with access to new advanced technologies and new equipment in the oil and gas industry. Thanks to this communications platform, Atyrau Oblast is a leader in attracting investments to the region. That is why such exhibitions are very important for our region,” said the acting director. Head of the Department of Industrial and Innovative Development of Atyrau Region Karlygash Bekbaev.

    The organizers of such exhibitions, however, as well as their participants, are sure that every year the number of joint ventures with countries of near and far abroad that are interested in the market of Kazakhstan will grow in Kazakhstan.

    The participants spoke not only about contracts and business, but also about the problems of the industry. Now in the list of one of the most discussed is the gas issue for the country. The debutant of this year, the QazaqGaz company, believes that it was possible to achieve certain results in participation and discuss the solution of pressing issues.

    Within the framework of the exhibition, the project of the industrial park of the Atyrau region was presented to those present. A memorandum of cooperation between TCO and Yedil-Oral.kz was also signed. Thus, the beginning of the project “Industrial Park of Atyrau for the production of equipment, spare parts and consumables in cooperation with original manufacturers for the needs of the three oil and gas projects Tengiz, Kashagan and Karagachanak” was laid.

    Within the framework of the exhibition, the participants held a number of seminars on topical issues in the development of the country’s oil and gas sector. In particular, representatives of Tengizchevroil held a seminar on the development of local content and the specifics of the TCO tender process. North Caspian Operating Company N.V. experts (NCOC) and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO) told the participants how to become a supplier for NCOC and KPO.

    “Petrocouncil.kz” organized a session “Oil and gas industry of the Atyrau region: Opportunities and prospects”, during which the speakers spoke about current and promising projects in the Atyrau region. Participants, and these are representatives of SMEs, oilfield service companies, manufacturers, as well as representatives of companies from Russia and the CIS countries, were able to hear about projects and support tools.

    Hikvision Kazakhstan held a seminar on “Protection of personnel, property and production processes in the oil and gas sector through the implementation of integrated solutions.”

    The management of Perfect Trading Company LLP shared information about Bio-Solv technologies – sustainable and environmentally friendly products that comply with ESG principles. Representatives of the company “Testing & Inspection Technology” spoke about the prospects for the introduction of modern methods of non-destructive testing using digital radiography and advanced ultrasonic testing (PR and TOFD) in Kazakhstan. Members of the Association of innovative enterprises in the energy sector “EnergoInnovatsiya” told the exhibitors about modern technologies in power drives for oil and gas production and transportation.

    As part of the exhibition, Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after S. Utebayeva held a seminar on the topic: “The experience of implementing the Concept of Lifelong Education – studying at the university, without interrupting work in production.” Yury Zakharov, manager for work with business partners in the CIS countries, spoke about the possibilities of Macroscop at industrial facilities, about neural networks and functional improvements in video surveillance.

    Traditionally, the Atyrau Oil&Gas and AtyrauBuild exhibitions have become productive industry platforms and provided an opportunity for all market participants to get acquainted with the products, services of exhibitors, discuss pressing issues and conclude profitable contracts.
