  • NEFTEGAZ Moscow 2012 – “It´s not fair! ROGTEC´s Everywhere!”

Last week saw the conclusion of NEFTEGAZ 2012, with hundreds of regional and foreign oilfield operators, service & technology suppliers displaying their latest offerings to an eager audience with an estimated total of more than 20000 visitors over the 5 days.

Whilst good business was being discussed across the 7 exhibition halls and forum pavilion, we also saw a growing number of companies, including NOV, deciding to take space in the outdoor exhibiting area. Feedback from the outdoor exhibitors was great and this will be reflected next year when we expect to see more companies opt for an outdoor presence. The conference at the adjoining RPGC also received great feedback with new technology implementation being a key topic of discussion in the sessions.

As for ROGTEC Magazine, we were proud to be an official media partner to both the exhibition and also the RPGC – showcasing our latest issue at the events. Please go to www.rogtecmagazine.com to see the full electronic copy, and to keep up to date with all the latest happenings in the Russian oil and gas sector. The issue received excellent feedback from all at the show, with features including an interview with Francis Sommer of TNK-BP, a “Drilling Contractors” roundtable as well as technical contributions from Rosneft, TNK- Uvat, SPD and our first collaboration with TyumenNIIgiprogaz.

The ROGTEC team on the ground at NEFTEGAZ continued the yearly tradition of covering the exhibition halls, conference rooms, magazine racks and registration areas with copies of ROGTEC Magazine. And with the “ROGTEC Girls” walking and distributing copies across the show floor to visitors & conference delegates, well over 6000 copies of the latest issue were distributed over the 5 days, ensuring great awareness for our advertisers.

The visual impact of the magazine, coupled with our unrivalled and independent content made the issue stand out, yet again, from the other publications at the show.  Our exposure and saturation of the exhibition and the conference  lead the general manager of one publication to exclaim, “It´s not fair, it´s not fair, ROGTEC´s everywhere!” High praise indeed.

NEFTEGAZ was a great success for many companies and for ROGTEC Magazine it was a fantastic event. We are proud to be a part of such an important show, and also to be able to offer upstream companies operating in the region a fantastic media platform for regional marketing awareness.

The ROGTEC team looks forward to seeing you all at the upcoming regional events and remember, its MIOGE next year and the WPC in 2014!
