“New Generation: Across the Universe” – at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (February 25th – March 1st, 2019)
The aims of the Forum are to bring together the best students of oil and gas specialties from the universities of the whole world, to exchange ideas and experience, as well as provide a platform for determining future trends in scientific and technological development in the global oil and gas industry.
It is the second year when the Forum has been supported by the International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), the World Petroleum Council (WPC) and the International Gas Union (IGU).
In 2017, the Forum participants were students from 30 countries and 39 universities from all over the world. During five days delegates took part in various events: the decision of the business case from Schlumberger, the discussion of reports in Plenary Sessions, the dialogue with representatives of oil and gas companies and public authorities at a press-conference “Development of the BRICS Youth Sector in the Fuel and Energy Sector” , visit of Career Pathways Fair. It should be noted that the participants had a rich cultural program: they visited Moscow Kremlin museums, had a master class in skating, tried delicious dishes at the festival “Cuisines of the Russian Nations”, and had a rest at the recreation center of Gubkin University “Zaluchye”.
