New Tanker RN Primorye Made its First Voyage to Deliver Oil Products from Nakhodka to Sakhalin
The new tanker RN Primorye made the first voyage to deliver oil products (gasoline and diesel fuel) from the port of Nakhodka to the Korsakovskaya oil depot of RN-Vostoknefteprodukt on Sakhalin Island. The vessel was loaded by a subsidiary of the Company – RN – Marine Terminal Nakhodka.
The new tanker was built at the shipyards of the Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center (DTSSS), whose shareholder is Rosneft.
The use of its own tanker fleet will allow Rosneft to improve the safety and reliability of the motor fuel supply to Sakhalin Island.
The company is the main supplier of motor fuels to Sakhalin and has a developed production and infrastructure base in the Far East. In the Sakhalin Region, Rosneft has a distribution network of 22 filling stations, including in remote areas of the island.
The deadweight of the reinforced ice class tanker “RN Primorye” is 3100 tons, length 88.9 meters, width 13.6 meters. The vessel is capable of simultaneously carrying four types of motor fuel.
RN Primorye became the second Rosneft tanker used to deliver oil products to Sakhalin. In 2018, the RN Sakhalin tanker began operating on the same route. Both tankers are operated by Rosnefteflot, a specialized subsidiary of Rosneft.
