  • NNK Continues Geological Exploration in the Komi Republic

The site is located in the region of the North Ural marginal trough, which is characterized by a complex geological structure. The area of exploration and prospecting is considered attractive in terms of the potential to expand the resource base and make new oil and gas discoveries. A complicating factor in studying the area is the lack of infrastructure due to the remoteness of the operations from producing fields in the region.

Based on the results of drilling and well testing, the company will ensure resource base replenishment for its Timan-Pechora assets by more than 150%. In addition, following the exploration work, a new licensing strategy will be developed, aimed at expanding the company’s presence in the region.

The company JSC “NNK”, through its subsidiaries, holds 31 licensed blocks in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Komi Republic, making it one of the largest hydrocarbon producers in the region.
