Novak Estimated the Production of Energy Resources in Russia Over the Weekend
The extraction and production of energy resources in Russia went according to plan over the weekend, the protection of fuel and energy complex facilities was strengthened, said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
“As for the production of basic energy products – these are oil products, coal, oil and gas production – everything also corresponds to the planned targets. Measures were taken to strengthen the anti-terrorist protection of fuel and energy facilities, the access control was strengthened on weekends, the staff on duty was transferred to a round-the-clock mode of operation, Interaction has been organized with operational services, as well as officials of fuel and energy organizations in the headquarters mode on the basis of the Ministry of Energy,” Novak said during a meeting between Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and deputy prime ministers.
The Deputy Prime Minister also added that during the weekend, special attention was paid to strengthening the security of critical information infrastructure.
