  • NOVATEK Reports Preliminary Operating Data for the Second Quarter and First Half 2024

    PAO NOVATEK (“NOVATEK” and/or the “Company”) reported today preliminary operating data for the second quarter and first half 2024.

    In the second quarter 2024, NOVATEK’s hydrocarbon production totaled 163.3 million barrels of oil equivalent (boe), including 20.60 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas and 3.4 million tons (mmt) of liquids (gas condensate and crude oil), with the total hydrocarbons production increasing by 4.4 million boe or by 2.8% year-on-year.

    NOVATEK’s hydrocarbon production totaled 330.7 million boe in the first half 2024, including 41.73 bcm of natural gas and 6.8 mmt of liquids, resulting in an increase in total hydrocarbons produced by 8.8 million boe, or by 2.7% as compared to the first half 2023.

    Preliminary total natural gas sales volumes, including volumes of LNG sold, in the second quarter and first half 2024 aggregated 17.83 and 39.30 bcm, respectively, resulting in a decrease of 2.6% and 3.3% as compared with the second quarter and first half 2023.

    Preliminary total sales volumes of liquid hydrocarbons in the second quarter and first half 2024 aggregated 4.0 and 8.3 mmt, which was 2.5% and 7.0% higher than in the second quarter and first half 2023.

    At 30 June 2024, NOVATEK had 0.8 bcm of natural gas, including LNG, and 1.5 mmt of stable gas condensate and petroleum products in storage or transit and recognized as inventory.
