  • Oil Production in Komi increased by 7%

In 2022, 14.3 million tons of oil with gas condensate were pumped out in the Komi Republic. This is 7.6% more than in 2021. The main growth in oil and gas condensate production (9%) was accounted for by OOO LUKOIL-Komi and NNK-Severnaya Neft (+17.5%). It is reported by Komionline.

Gas production increased by 1% to 3.5 billion cubic meters. This indicator was achieved due to the fact that the production of associated petroleum gas (APG) increased by 4%. And the production of natural gas, according to the Komi Ministry of Economic Development, fell by 1.2%. This is due to the depletion of reserves at the gas fields of the Gazprom dobycha Krasnodar company.

In 2023, it is planned to produce 14 million tons of oil with gas condensate on the territory of the Komi Republic. The main subsoil user of the region is OOO LUKOIL-Komi. The planned volume of gas production (natural and associated) is 3.4 billion cubic meters. 99.9% of natural gas in the region is produced by Gazprom Dobycha Krasnodar.

The volume of oil processed in Komi increased by 17% over the year. Oil products in the region were produced only by the Ukhta Oil Refinery (LUKOIL-Ukhtaneftepererabotka). Another producer, Enisey LLC, was not involved in processing in 2022. The company plans to start it in February 2023.
