Oilmen Introduced an Innovative Management Model at a “Smart” Field in Ugra
Thanks to digitalization, the enterprise has increased the efficiency of decisions made.
At the Vatyegan group of fields in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, the LUKOIL-Western Siberia company introduced an innovative model for managing hydrocarbon production based on integrated operations. This became possible thanks to the implementation of the “Intellectual Field” project of PJSC LUKOIL. FederalPress found out the details.
“The digital model of the Vatyeganskoye field is the largest model of an oil field in Russia – includes digital twins of more than 3,000 wells, 1,600 km of pipelines, 12 development facilities and covers the entire production chain – from the reservoir to the entrance to the central oil collection and treatment point,” explained in the press service of the enterprise.
With the help of such digitalization of the field, the enterprise has increased the efficiency of decisions made and, of course, their quality, which are formed by a group of specialists in a single information base.
In addition, “digital” helps determine the real potential of production, planning, monitoring and assessing hydrocarbon production volumes, as well as optimizing oil and gas production. LLC LUKOIL-Western Siberia is actively developing integrated modeling at its fields. To date, 18 digital field models have already been created, and in the next four years their number will grow to 27.
