Oilmen of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Commissioned Two New Fields
Oilmen in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug put two new fields into trial production in 2023. Information about oil production facilities was reported by Deputy Governor of Yugra Sergei Chernyaev at the Yugra Economic Forum in Khanty-Mansiysk, which was broadcast on the official portal of the event.
“This year, two fields were put into trial production. They are located in the Nizhnevartovsky and Oktyabrsky districts of the district,” Chernyaev said.
The Vice-Governor noted that subsoil users of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Rosnedra pay great attention to the exploration of new mineral reserves: due to geological exploration work in 2023, the oil potential of the district will increase by 240 million tons of oil. Next year, according to Chernyaev, the district authorities plan to maintain the pace of involvement in the development of new fields.
Earlier, URA.RU wrote that Deputy Governor of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Sergei Chernyaev announced a decrease in oil production in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. According to forecasts, in 2023 eight tons of oil will be produced less than in the past.
