Orenburg Gas Producers Are Creating A Digital Test Site
The Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg company is creating a digital testing ground for testing automated control systems, information technologies and testing innovative solutions related to production processes.
The new project is one of the enterprise’s initiatives within the framework of the digital transformation strategy of PJSC Gazprom.
“The main functional areas of the test site are testing of almost all types of automation tools and systems, testing of digital models, modern sensors, taking into account information security issues. This is the creation of simulators and training classes. We are faced with a very important and interesting task, since everything new and modern in PJSC Gazprom will be tested here,” explained Vadim Droshnev, deputy chief engineer of Gazprom Dobycha Orenburg LLC for automation and metrological support.
The first stage of creating a digital test site in the Company’s area of responsibility is designed for two years, starting from the current one.
