Orenburgneft: Commissioned Three New Fields
Orenburgneft (part of Rosneft’s perimeter) has brought into commercial development three new fields – Mamalaevskoye, Kornilovskoye and Novosibirsk. The total recoverable reserves of the fields amount to 7.6 million tons of oil.
The commissioning of new fields is part of a large-scale development program for the Radovsky, Kornilovsky and Novobogolyubovsky license areas. The development of the fields was preceded by the 3D seismic survey and the drilling of exploration wells. Based on the results of the launch of the first exploratory wells, the stage of production drilling began. Following the results of 8 months, the total daily production of 13 drilled production wells amounted to 719 tons of oil.
By the end of 2020, Orenburgneft plans to build and commission 4 more new wells within the Mamalaevskoye and Novosibirsk fields. Also, by the end of the year, the West Dolgovskoye field, which was discovered in 2019, will be put into commercial operation. The field has a significant resource potential, so two more exploration wells are being drilled here. Their commissioning is scheduled for 2022-2023.
JSC Orenburgneft is actively developing and successfully implementing measures to further expand the infrastructure and build up production capacities. In total, 60 more production wells are planned to be commissioned at the Mamalaevskoye, Kornilovskoye, Novosibirsk and Zapadno-Dolgovskoye fields in the period 2021-2025.
