  • Orenburgneft: Opens New Oil Deposit, Mamalaevskoye, on the Radovsky License

PJSC Orenburgneft, a subsidiary of Rosneft, has opened a new oil deposit, Mamalaevskoye, with total recoverable reserves of more than 2 million tons of oil.

The deposit is located within the Radovsky licensed area and was discovered as a result of drilling a prospecting and evaluation well at the Mamalaevskaya structure. Flows of oil were received with a flow rate from 24 to 240 m 3 / day. The success of prospecting drilling is explained, first of all, by the use of modern research methods. At the Radovskoye site, field seismic operations were carried out using the 3D method in a volume of 750 km2.

The development of the field involves the construction of new facilities: – another 13 production wells, a pipeline length 11 km for the transportation of oil from the wells of the Mamalaevskoye field to the existing automatic group test facility of the neighboring East-Kapitonovskoye field, the use of its infrastructure will provide a synergistic effect.

The Radovskiy subsoil plot was purchased in 2011 with the aim of expanding the resource base, replenishing the industrial hydrocarbon reserves to ensure the company’s stable production.
