Orenburgneft Saved More Than 100 Million Rubles Due to an Increase in the Overhaul Period of Equipment Operation
JSC Orenburgneft, a subsidiary of Rosneft, in 2020 increased the overhaul period of the mechanized well stock to 825 days, which is 8.9% more than in 2019. The economic effect from the increase in the turnaround period for electric centrifugal and sucker rod pumps exceeded 111 million rubles.
The introduction of advanced technological solutions in all areas of the Company’s activities is one of the key goals of the Rosneft 2022 Strategy. As part of this work, Orenburgneft is implementing a whole range of measures to improve the efficiency of the mechanized well stock.
As part of monitoring the complicating factors in oil production and protecting the complicated well stock, the company’s specialists use tubing with an internal coating that excludes corrosion and prevents asphalt-resin-paraffin deposits on the walls. To protect submersible pumping equipment, innovative technologies are used: pump filters to protect against mechanical impurities, as well as special devices with a diode module.
