This project is part of the bigger program aimed at improving brownfield production efficiency in the Orenburg Region.
The length of the power transmission line will be about 70 km. The construction is to be finished in January 2014. Then, the new power transmission line will be connected to Yuzhnaya 220 kV substation, which belongs to Volga Bulk Power Systems (OJSC Federal Grid Company Branch).
The implementation of this project will provide additional capacity and compensate the energy deficiency not only at the Buzuluk District fields, but also in Buguruslan and Sorochinsk areas, giving new momentum to the development of oil production in the Orenburg Region and significantly improving operational efficiency.
